1993

Rica is born

The Puglisi family founds Rica, a small artisan laboratory for the small-scale production of hair removal waxes.

Entry into the haircare market for the professional channel

There are two iconic and distinctive ingredients in all Rica formulations: prickly pear oil and volcanic water from Mount Etna.

With the aim of reaching and ensuring ever-higher quality standards and offering ethical, safe, and sustainable cosmetics, procedures for obtaining various corporate and product certifications have been initiated.

Vegan Certification
We certify our haircare and haircolor lines with VEGANOK to emphasize the complete absence of ingredients of animal origin in both our formulas and packaging.

Halal Certification
Our products are certified with the Halal mark to ensure maximum effectiveness for our customers and provide a guarantee of additional quality. Each cosmetic is formulated and produced following a rigorous quality system with controls at every stage of the process.
